Relavant Building Code Clauses
VTITE uPVC windows and doors have been tested with accordance to New Zealand standards SNZ TS 4211:2022 and comply with the following Building Code Clauses:
- B1.3.3(h) – VTITE windows and doors are manufactured to meet criteria for High and Very High Wind Zones;
- B2.3.1(i) – VTITE joinery frames and glazing have durability of at least of 15 years;
- E2.3.2 – VTITE windows and doors have characteristic of air permeability Class 4 and very high water penetration resistance;
- F2.3.3 and F4.3.1 – Glazing of VTITE windows and doors is carried out as per NZS 4223.3:2016 with safety glass installed where required to reduce the risk of injury to the occupants and with glass strong enough to safeguard people from falling 1.0m or more from floor level;
- H1.3.1 – VTITE uPVC windows and doors have a minimum R-Value of R0.56 determined in accordance with TABLE E.1.1.1 (H1 Energy Efficiency Acceptable Solution H1/AS1).
